Nude poses are particular, remain yourself is essential.

Before the start of every project, there is an extensive  discussion about the way of working and the result which is being aimed.

 

Consultation and participation.

As soon as the artistic painter and the constituent have set the success of the task sufficiently, (format, composition, topic, background…) a digitally photographic photo shot is made to sustain the task.

The photographs focus strongly on variation and feeling.

After mutual consultation the photographs are dealt with thoroughly. The most interesting photographs are selected.

 A linear drawing is elaborated on the canvas.

The artistic painting itself can start.  

Luc De Jonghe applies the famous glazing technique (transparent layer on layer) with unthinned oil painting,  so regular drying periods are necessary.

During the last phase precision and creative imagination merge to refinement. For  precise and subtle details, the model may be invited a  second time.

After the completion of the task all photographic material is given to the constituent for free.
